During this time of disruption in our industry, change is both exciting and frightening – and yet even years ago Dick Egan said he hoped everyone would “be at ease with constant change.” This course takes a practical look at how change affects us as individuals and business professionals. We’ll tap into neuroscience to help participants understand why change is so difficult for most people. We will discuss useful ways of overcoming resistance to the seemingly relentless changes Team Members are experiencing.
Using short video talks and links to current articles, book abstracts, and video clips, we will explore how to maintain resilience and navigate forward and productively in such uncertain times – to avoid the derailers and capitalize on the opportunities. Throughout this engaging online, self-paced course, participants will be given tips and techniques, and multiple occasions to learn and share with other Team Members’ ways of managing themselves and the changing expectations asked of them.
